The pendant that Marilyn is wearing around her neck is based on a photograph of Marilyn and Joe DiMaggio taken by John Vachon during the filming of the motion picture “The River of No Return”. After many weeks of negotiations with TIME Incorporated and the estates of Alfred Eisenstaedt and John Vachon, Allan was granted a license to sell this beautiful giclée reproduction of the original pastel painting.
